The IASSC Lean Leader programme develops the capability to lead Lean initiatives, align improvement work with business goals, analyse end-to-end processes, and guide teams through measurable operational change. Module 3: Flow, Pull, and Bottleneck Management

Continuous flow, batch-size reduction, and cellular concepts

Module 4: Setup Reduction and Process Responsiveness

Single-Minute Exchange of Die principles and setup observation

Module 5: Advanced Process Analysis

Process performance baselines and operational definitions

Module 6: Leading Kaizen and Improvement Teams

Planning and facilitating Kaizen events and rapid improvement workshops

Module 7: Change Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement

Assessment and completion

  • Continuous knowledge checks, facilitated exercises, and team-based improvement analysis
  • Completion of a value stream, bottleneck, changeover, or Lean leadership case exercise
  • PeopleCert examination: 90 multiple-choice questions, 120 minutes, closed book, 70% pass mark
  • PeopleCert certification is subject to the selected exam package and is renewed every three years
